Une idée géniale trouvée dans ce livre anglais qui permet de trouver une utilité aux vieux mouchoirs brodés que nous avons toutes dans nos armoires :
I found a very good idea in this book to use all the lovely embroidered handkerchieves I had in my drawer :
1 - Repasser le mouchoir sur l'envers et le plier en forme d'enveloppe, bien marquer les plis avec le fer à repasser.
1 - Iron the handkerchief on the wrong side , fold it in the shape of an enveloppe and iron it in this shape.
La partie brodée forme le rabat de l'enveloppe.
The emboidered part becomes the flap of the enveloppe.
2 - Confectionner un petit sachet dans un tissus fin et y glisser deux cuillères à soupe de lavande ; placer ce sachet au centre de l'enveloppe :
2 - Make a little satchel in a thin cloth and put two spoons of lavender inside it. Put this satchel in the middle of the envelope :
3 - Replier le mouchoir comme il était repassé :
3 - Fold the handkerchief the way it was ironed :
4 - Il ne reste plus qu'à coudre un petit bouton dans la pointe du rabat pour fermer cette enveloppe.
4 - You only have to sew a little button on the flap to fasten the envelope.
Et voilà !
C'est vraiment simple !
